Zero Gravity Design developed the interior design for MediaCity Flex, a completed 16,000 sq ft flexible workspace across two floors of Tomorrow Building in Salford, Greater Manchester. The project combines private accommodation with shared amenities, shaping an occupier experience that extends beyond desk space.

The brief was to accommodate different businesses and working patterns within one welcoming environment. Business lounges and collaboration areas sit alongside meeting rooms, phone booths, private office suites and a dedicated wellness room, giving each activity a clear place in the plan.

Muted tones, natural textures and layered furniture connect the two floors. Zoning distinguishes more active shared areas from quieter settings, while consistent finishes establish a recognisable identity. The design balances the sociability of the communal spaces with the practical need for privacy and concentration.
