WHAT MAKES A PADEL CLUB COMMERCIALLY WORK
Courts bring people in. The rest of the venue earns the margin. Reception, bar, cafe, social space, retail, changing and recovery decide how long people stay, how often they come back and what they spend. We design the whole venue as one commercial layout, with the courts as the anchor and the space around them working for its area. We start with the question most padel schemes skip: what does each square metre earn? Court count, circulation, welfare, hospitality and back-of-house are tested against the site and the business plan before any finishes are chosen.
New Build, Conversion or Clubhouse
Padel projects tend to fall into three types, and each has different design risks.
Conversions of vacant retail, industrial and leisure units. Landlords and developers use padel to bring back big-box space that is hard to let. We test clear height, column grid, floor loading, acoustics, services and planning position early, so you know whether a unit works before you commit to it.
Indoor new build. Full control of the envelope, services and acoustics, and the venue becomes a hospitality destination people stay in.
Outdoor and canopy schemes. More weight on courts, canopies, lighting and a compact social hub, with a lighter building footprint.
Whichever type you are planning, the clubhouse is where the venue is won or lost. It carries the brand, the bar and cafe trade and the community that keeps members returning.

We work alongside specialist court suppliers, architects and contractors. Courts come from the manufacturers; we design the venue around them and coordinate the details where courts meet the building.
What Does A Padel Club Cost To Fit Out?
Costs vary widely by indoor or outdoor, court count and the condition of the building. As indicative UK ranges from our cost guide: a single panoramic club-spec court is typically £40,000 to £80,000, a small two-court commercial facility around £100,000 to £200,000 all-in, and a premium indoor multi-court venue £1m to £3m once the building envelope, services and finishes are included.
