Padel Club Manchester is a commissioned interior design concept by Zero Gravity Design for an eight-court padel venue in Manchester, including dedicated tournament courts. The scheme connects arrival, bar, café, retail, coworking, changing, recovery and physio into a single club experience, planned so the building trades across the whole day rather than only at peak.

The brief starts from a commercial problem rather than an aesthetic one. Court hire fills the line every operator models; it rarely makes the business work on its own. The proposal plans the ancillary space to earn its footprint - a bar and café positioned to catch players coming off court, retail set into the route rather than tucked behind reception, and daytime tables that put the room to work in the hours between bookings.

The interior runs two related palettes. Courtside is darker and more charged: bronze, black mesh, backlit joinery and a long fluted bar facing the glass, so the game is the view. The café and lounge shift warmer, with micro-cement, arched openings, timber-slatted ceilings, olive trees in circular planters and soft bouclé seating. Court-line graphics run across the polished concrete floor, carrying the game into the social space. Changing, recovery and physio sit off the same circulation route, and a dedicated content area gives players and the club somewhere built to film and share from.
