Zero Gravity Design designed Hope Capital’s new headquarters at Alaska House, Liverpool, around a clear ambition: create a workplace that reflects the company’s personality, supports a growing team and brings people together. Working closely with Hope Capital’s leadership and brand team, we translated that ambition into 10,000 sq ft of connected working, meeting and social spaces.

The layout balances the practical demands of the business with greater choice throughout the working day. Open-plan workstations sit alongside meeting rooms, a boardroom, video-call booths and informal seating, providing settings for focused work, private conversations and collaboration. Space for future expansion was considered from the outset, with storage, refreshment points and circulation planned around everyday use. A welcoming entrance establishes Hope Capital’s identity, while a dedicated media room provides a setting for filming, photography and content creation.

At the heart of the social space, an auditorium creates a focal point for presentations, training and company gatherings. A kitchen, bar, lounge seating and games area give colleagues somewhere to step away from their desks, share ideas and spend time together. Warm neutrals, green tones, timber finishes and upholstered seating connect the different areas. Feature lighting, planting and acoustic treatments bring texture and softness, while bespoke booth seating, auditorium seating and executive office joinery give the scheme its individual character.
